Getting Started
You don’t need to be Buddhist to benefit from Buddha’s teachings. People of all faiths, along with those who do not follow any spiritual path, are welcome.
Our center provides a pressure-free environment for meditation. Whether a seasoned meditator or a first-time mediator, you will find an opportunity to relax in a peaceful and beautiful meditation space.
Classes
If you are not familiar with our tradition (the New Kadampa Tradition), consider checking out one of our weekly classes and/or a Saturday workshop. Weekly classes are designed for all levels of practitioner and are presented in a way which is straightforward and accessible to the modern meditator. Most classes include a breathing meditation, a teaching, and end with meditation on the class topic. Weekend events vary in topic and length - please see our calendar for more information.
If you have been practicing meditation and wish to deepen your practice, the Foundation Program (FP) may be right for you. The FP involves guided course study of one of the books written by our Founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. FP members meet weekly for teachings, discussion, and meditation.
